BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 28. Gasoil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 518,966 tons in May 2022, which is 41.3 percent more than the same month in 2021 and 7.9 percent more than in April 2022, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh Statistics Committee.
Committee said that gasoil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 2.2 million tons in first five months of 2022, which is 16.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
According to the committee, Kazakhstan imported 204.7 tons of gasoil in May 2022, which is two times less than in the same month of 2021 and 2.8 times more than in April 2022.
Kazakhstan imported 23,243 tons of gasoil from January through May 2022, which is 72.6 percent less than the same period last year.
Kazakhstan also exported 4,839 tons of gasoil in May 2022, which is 86 percent less than the same month in 2021, but 2.8 times more than in April 2022.
The committee also noted that Kazakhstan exported 24,185 tons of gasoil in first five months of 2022, which is 87.2 percent less than the same period in 2021.
A total of 514,332 tons of gasoil were sold on local market of Kazakhstan in May 2022, which is 45.9 percent more than the same month in 2021 and 7.7 percent more than April 2022.
Sale of gasoil in local market of Kazakhstan amounted to 2.2 million tons from January through May 2022, which is 23.2 percent more than in the same period in 2021.
