BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 29. A total of 303,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) worth about $135 million belonging to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), were sold on the international floor of the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), for export purposes, on September 28, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.

Of this, 300,000 tons worth about $134 million were sold by Iran’s South Pars Gas Company (SPGC), while 3,000 tons worth $1.32 million - were by Sarkhoon Qeshm Gas Refining Company.

The demand for LPG on the international floor of the IRENEX increased to 450,000 tons on September 28.

Iran’s South Pars Gas Company and Sarkhoon Qeshm Gas Refining Company are subsidiaries of the National Iranian Gas Company.

According to the report, the base price of each barrel of LPG is $440, while the selling price is $640.
