bp reveals number of drilled wells at ACG

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) completed 11 oil producer and two water injector wells in the third quarter of 2022, Trend reports with reference to bp.

At the end of the third quarter of 2022, 137 oil wells were producing, while 33 were used for water and eight for gas injection.

"During the year, ACG continued to safely and reliably deliver stable production. Total ACG production amounted to 418,000 barrels per day (about 114 million barrels or 15 million tons in total), from the Chirag (25,000 b/d), Central Azeri (105,000 b/d), West Azeri (108,000 b/d), East Azeri (63,000 b/d), Deepwater Gunashli (77,000 b/d) and West Chirag (40,000 b/d) platforms," bp noted.

ACG participating interests are: bp (30.37 percent), SOCAR (25.0 percent), MOL (9.57 percent), INPEX (9.31 percent), Equinor (7.27 percent), ExxonMobil (6.79 percent), TPAO (5.73 percent), ITOCHU (3.65 percent), ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL) (2.31 percent).

BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited is the operator on behalf of the Contractor Parties to the ACG Production Sharing Agreement.
