BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 24. The value of sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), amounted to more than 11 trillion rials (about $38.2 million), from November 19 through November 23, 2022, Trend reports citing the IRENEX.
In overall, 64,000 tons of hydrocarbon products worth over 10.9 trillion rials (about $37.6 million) were sold at the Iran Energy Exchange.
Moreover, 5.4 million kilowatt-hours of electricity worth 3.86 billion rials (about $13,000) were sold at the IRENEX within the mentioned period.
At the same time, Standard Parallel Salaf (Islamic contract, similar to futures) documents worth 190 billion rials (about $654,000) were also sold at the energy exchange.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is currently 301,180 rials, and the price of $1 is 290,666 rials.
