BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. Azerbaijan's oil production volume totaled 2.7 million tons (including condensate) in January 2023, Trend reports via Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy.
According to the ministry, a total of 1.6 million tons of oil were produced in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli deposit, while in Shah Deniz - 0.4 million tons. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 0.7 million tons of oil.
"During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 2.1 million tons of oil, of which 2 million tons fell to the consortium and 134,000 tons to SOCAR," said the statement.
Since the launch until February 1, 2023, about 609.1 million tons of oil, including condensate, were produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz deposits. Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli produced 568.5 million tons of oil, while Shah Deniz produced 40.6 million tons of condensate. About 607 million tons of oil were exported as of February 1.
