BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. Azerbaijan exported over one million tons of oil and petroleum products to Spain from January through July 2023, which is 6.59 percent of the total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
Oil exports increased by 82.9 percent year-on-year (by more than 464,280 tons).
In addition, Azerbaijani exports of oil and petroleum products to Spain in the reporting period amounted to over $644.7 million, which is 51.31 percent ($218.6 million) more compared to the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan exported about 15.5 million tons of oil and petroleum products in general from January through July 2023, which is 5.33 percent less than the same period last year (16.4 million tons). In general, oil exports exceeded $9.4 billion, which is 23.82 percent, or $2.9 billion less than from January through July 2022.
