Situated at the heart of Europe's energy infrastructure, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) plays a pivotal role as a vital conduit for transporting approximately 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas to diverse markets. Notably, TAP possesses significant potential for expansion, with the capacity to reach an annual threshold of 20 billion cubic meters. The strategic and economic importance of TAP is underscored by its indispensable role in ensuring Europe's consistent access to a fresh natural gas supply.

This pivotal role contributes significantly to bolstering energy security, fostering the diversification of energy sources, and accelerating progress towards ambitious decarbonization objectives. TAP stands as a cornerstone in Europe's energy landscape.
