EXPORT OF OIL PRODUCTS FROM HEYDAR ALIYEV OIL REFINERY INCREASED IN JULY

The Department of Marketing and Economic Operations (DMEO) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported in January-July from Baku Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (former Azerneftyanajag, part of SOCAR) 614,500 tons of various oil products, which is for 111,100 tons more of January-July 2004, SOCAR told Trend.

Export of oil products at DMEO SOCAR was in July 154,400 tons, which is for 47,000 tons more of June 2005 and for 69,300 tons more of July 2004. The main reason for oil products export increase in July against June is additional refining of the straight-run mazut from another Oil Refinery - Azerneftyag at Heaydar Aliyev oil refinery and production of the cracked mazut.

According to SOCAR, the oil products were sold in the world market in July at the following prices: (FOB MED (Italy)): gasoline вЂ" $544,51/t (+$34,90/t against June price), jet fuel вЂ" $568,69/t ($16,20/t), diesel fuel - $519,82/t ($14,69/t), the price of 1 t mazut was $271,65/t.
