The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers ordered the Azerneftyag oil refinery plant of SOCAR to deliver 25,000 tons of M-40 mazut to the Singaporean Petrofarm till late December, Trend reports.
Azerneftyag delivered 277,400 tons of M-40 mazut from early 2005. In November the mazut export comprised 7,400 tons. Mazut export dropped in relation to the winter season.
As to mazut export in 2006, Azerneftyag noted that the issue was under discussion and concrete decision would be made in early 2006.
Under the contract with Petrofarm, Azerneftyag plans to transport 300,000 tons mazut to the Batumi port in 2005.
In 2004 the plant exported 1,155m tons of different oil products in the amount of $292m.
