Azertrans MMC announced completion of building the second connective pipeline between the Azerbaijan terminal in Sangachal owned by BP and Azertrans, the press-release of the Azpetrol company to which Azertrans is the part, reads, according to Trend.
The document notes, the pipeline diameter is 30 inches. Azertrans and the BTC Co pipeline company signed an agreement on providing connecting of the oil pipeline system between the sea and the railway terminal in Sangachal, owned by Azertrans and BTC Co.
The pipelines length is 11,577 km. Its constructing was performed by the Caspmorneftegazstroy trust. Commissioning of the pipeline will enable to create conditions for the oil export from the Caspian to the Mediterranean Sea.
