Establishment conference of trade unions was held in SOCAR's new Office for social development founded in February 2006, Trend reports with reference to Republican Committee of Oil and Gas Industry employees (RCOGIE).
At the conference led by head of RCOGIE Djahangir Aliyev were partaking deputy head of the Office Tettub Djafarov, head of economics and accounting Mahir Mamedov, et al.
The committee of 19 people, 7 of which entered revision control commission, has been approved. Fatullah Mustafayev, head of trade department, was elected the chairman of the committee.
Gorkhmaz Guliyev is the head of office for social development, covering over 8,000 employees.
The main purpose of the new committee is to control social-oriented actions taken by SOCAR and social structures (medical institutions, recreation centers, kindergartens and so) financed by the state company.
