Momentum, drilling contractor of Karasu Operating Company (KAOC), is going to inspect the oil derrick that has fallen a week ago. Upon the inspection, further field operation schedule and drilling program will be adjusted, Trend reports quoting Michael Palmer, president, KAOC.
This derrick should have drilled three wells at Mishovdag field and the start drilling evaluation well in a new area called Injabel.
However, the company officials said, the drilling problems are not so likely as the plan envisaged second drilling unit suspending operations and first (fallen) unit should have continued drilling.
