Aydin Bashirov, the head of the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company (KASPAR), said that the company has a contract for delivery of oil in 2007 for ChevronTexaco, which is involved in the oil production from Kazakhstan's Kashagan field, Trend reports.
The company intends to transport 5-6 million tons of oil via the territory of Azerbaijan.
Bashirov stated that the terminal the transportation is to be carried out is still to be defined.
