There is no gas lack in the internal market but there is unbalance between the prices, the President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovnak Abdullayev briefed the media, Trend reports.
The Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery has no problems with covering the internal demand. The internal demand equals to 10,000-11,000 tons. Last year the Refinery produced 16,000 tons of liquefied gas. In relation with the increase of the prices for the liquefied gas in various regions, I can say that it is inaccurate to link it with the lack of the refineries. The prices for the liquefied gas are so low that the drivers refuse diesel and benzene, and connect their cars to the liquefied gas. Several problems appear due to this. This question will be considered in the near future, Abdullayev said.
