The Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Davud Mammadov, informed Trend that the production of the kerosene and diesel fuel in the Azerbaijani Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev and Azneftyag Oil Refinery will remain at the level of this year in 2007.
According to him, presently the kerosene in the country is produced with surpluses. Nearly 75% of this kind of oil product is used in the internal market and 25% is exported, he said.
According to the statistical data of SOCAR, over the period of January-November 2006, 1.9 mln tons of diesel fuel was produced in Azerbaijan.
