Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In January-June the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 3.82 mln tons of its own oil, a source at SOCAR stated.
Over the reported period, SOCAR exported 497,100 tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. From January-June oil was not exported via the Baku-Supsa pipeline due to repairs being done on the pipeline.
Some 221,250 tons of oil was exported via railway to the Georgian port of Batumi.
In January-June SOCAR exported 3.1 mln tons of oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
In 2006 SOCAR transported 1.17 mln tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, 1.15 mln tons via Baku-Supsa, 1.13 mln tons via railway to Batumi and 1.4 mln tons via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (export via this pipeline commenced in May 2006).
