Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Azerenergy JSC produced nearly 12.811bln KWt of electricity from January to July, a source from Azerenergy stated. Azerenergy produced 14.2bln KWt electricity from January to July 2006, with 12.4bln KWt coming from thermoelectric power stations. Of the electricity produced in the past six months, 11.153bln KWt come from thermoelectric power stations and nearly 1,658 from hydroelectric power stations.
In July, more than 1.4bln KWt electricity was produced and exchanged with Russia, Iran, and Georgia.
