The value of direct foreign investments to Kazakhstan amounted to 518.8 trillion tenge, which is 17.8 percent more than during 2017, Trend reports with reference to the data of Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
Pavlodar, Almaty and Akmola regions are among leaders by value of attracted investments. The value of investments attracted to Pavlodar region amounted to 93.292 trillion tenge, which is 59.3 percent more than during the same period of 2017.
In turn, the value of investments attracted to Almaty region exceeded 82 trillion tenge (+27.6 percent), whereas the value of investments to Akmola region exceeded 60 trillion tenge (+49.1 percent).
Furthermore, the largest increase of investments value is observed in Mangystau region of the country. The value of investments attracted to the region amounted to over 715 billion tenge, which is 80.2 percent more than during 2017.
Almaty city (+62.5 percent) and Pavlodar region (59.3 percent) are also among leaders by investments value increase.
However, the investments value decrease is observed in North Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions of the country. The value of investments in North Kazakhstan region amounted to 50.130 trillion tenge, with a decrease of 41.9 percent, whereas the value of investments to Kostanay region equaled to 47.738 trillion tenge, with a decrease of 1.7 percent.
