The net profit of the Azerbaijani insurance company Gunay Insurance amounted to 439,127 manats for the first half of 2019, which is almost 1.6 times more than the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the company's financial report.
Over the reporting period, the income of the insurance company decreased by 48.7 percent compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to 3.012 million manats. Revenues were provided mainly via insurance fees in the amount of 2.675 million manats.
Meanwhile, net insurance reserves decreased by 170.184 manats, and investment income amounted to 115,771 manats (decrease of almost 38.3 percent).
During the reporting period, expenses decreased by 1.6 times, amounting to 2.573 million manats, of which operating expenses amounted to 1.260 million manats.
The costs associated with conducting business amounted to 1.309 million manats during the reporting period.
