The capital of Bank Keshavarzi Iran will increase to 209 trillion rials (about $4.97 billion), Trend reports citing the bank’s information portal.
According to the report, work is final stage to increase Keshavarzi Bank's capital by 10 trillion rials (about $238 million).
The capital of Keshavarzi Bank increased by 88.8 trillion rials (about $2.11 billion) reached 199 trillion rials (about $4.75 billion) over last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).
"The increase in capital will strengthen the structure of Keshavarzi Bank's balance sheet and lead to the implementation of economic plans for the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022)," the report said.
The Bank Keshavarzi Iran operates mainly in the agricultural sector of Iran.
