The total value of transactions on corporate securities at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) exceeded 211 million manat ($124 million) from January through July 2021, Trend reports referring to the report of the BSE.
During the reporting period, 2,692 deals have been concluded at the BSE, of which 2,675 transactions (99.4 percent) worth about 96.45 million manat ($56.74 million) of that value accounted for the secondary market.
In particular, 2,451 shares worth 6.25 million manat ($3.68 million) and 224 bonds worth 90.2 million manat ($53 million) were sold. Three transactions in the secondary market accounted for the sale of mortgage bonds in the amount of 62.9 million manat ($37 million).
Some 17 transactions (0.6 percent) worth 114.57 million manat ($67.4 million) were concluded in the primary market, three shares worth six million manat ($3.5 million) and 14 bonds worth 108.57 million manat ($63.86 million) were sold (including four mortgage ones worth 105 million manat ($61.8 million).
The capitalization of the BSE on the last trading day of July 2021 reached 4.3 billion manat ($2.5 billion), having grown by 11 percent since the beginning of the year.
