Bank Keshavarzi Iran sees increase in loans issued for purchase of agricultural machinery

The amount of loans issued by the Bank Keshavarzi Iran for the purchase of agricultural machinery increased by 92 percent, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the bank’s website.

According to the report, the Bank Keshavarzi Iran has issued loans worth about 28.3 trillion rials (about $673 million) for the purchase of agricultural machinery in 7 months.

Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the bank had issued 14.7 trillion rials (about $350 million) worth of loans for this purpose.

The loans were issued for the purchase of about 17,896 units of agricultural machinery and equipment within the mentioned period.

As reported, the Bank Keshavarzi Iran has issued about 550 trillion rials (about $13 billion) worth of loans within 7 months. This is an increase of 52 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
