Kazakhstan reports increase in pension savings

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 29

Pension savings of contributors (recipients) amounted to 13.3 trillion ($31.01 billion) as of December 1 in Kazakhstan, having increased by 134.9 billion tenge ($312.9 million), or by 1 percent, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The net revenue from investing into pension savings has increased by 128.7 billion tenge ($298.6 million) over November, amounting to 6.8 trillion tenge ($15.9 billion) as of December 1, 2021.

The number of individual pension accounts of contributors for compulsory pension amounted to 10.9 million accounts as of December 1, 2021. The amount of pension payments amounted to 129.9 billion tenge ($301.3 million) in December 2021.

Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) carries out its activities strictly within the framework determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Fund aims to maintain high standards of corporate governance, regularly publishes information on the state of depositors accounts and its current financial condition in open information sources.
