BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. The fund balance raised by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) through the note placement from January through April 2022 is estimated at 710 million manat ($417.89 million), Trend reports citing the review of CBA monetary policy.

In the reporting period, the CBA held 26 auctions for the placement of notes, out of which 13 fell on the placement of long-term notes, 12 – 28-day notes, and one – 23-day notes.

Moreover, there was an excess demand at the auctions, thereby the yield on these instruments was set at a level close to the lower limit of the interest band.
