BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 9. The amount of loans issued by Bank Keshavarzi Iran for the cultivation of greenhouse crops in the country increased by 132 percent from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022) to January 3, 2023, compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to Iranian Ministry of Agriculture Jihad.
In total, the bank issued 9,305 loans worth 42.6 trillion rials (about $1.02 billion) for the cultivation of greenhouse crops in the country within the mentioned period.
Meanwhile, in the same period of last Iranian year, the bank has issued loans worth about 18.5 trillion rials (about $440 million) for this purpose.
Compared to the same period of last Iranian year, the amount of issued loans has increased by more than 24 trillion rials (about $572 million).
