BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 14. The amount of loans issued by the Bank Keshavarzi Iran from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 to January 14, 2023), has almost doubled compared to the same period last Iranian year, CEO of the bank, Farshid Farrokhnejad said, Trend reports referring to Mehr News Agency.
The CEO said that overall, the Bank Keshavarzi Iran provided loans worth 1.5 quadrillion rials (about $35.7 billion) since the beginning of the current Iranian year.
“Within the mentioned period, the bank issued loans worth more than 100 trillion rials (about $2.38 billion) as working capital,” he noted.
Farrokhnejad also added that the Bank Keshavarzi has provided loans worth 10 trillion rials (about $238 million s) for the purchase of agricultural machinery. At the same time, the issuance of 40 trillion rials (about $952 million) in loans has been announced to the bank's all branches.
