BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. The Memorandum of Understanding on “Baku to Belém (B2B) Climate Partnership” has been signed within the framework of Pre-Cop, Trend reports.
According to the information, the agreement in this regard was signed between Azerbaijan and Brazil.
The agreement was signed by COP29 chief negotiator Yalchin Rafiyev and André Corrêa do Lago, Special Representative of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Climate, Energy and Environment.
The B2B initiative has established crucial cooperation between COP29, to be held in Azerbaijan, and COP30, to be held in Brazil, to advance global climate action, promote sustainable development, and strengthen cooperation from COP29 to COP30 and beyond.
