Baku will host a regional conference to develop urgent money transfers and other post-financial services in late May and early June, the Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology (IT) Ministry.
"As at present Azerbaijan is implementing the project to apply financial services to the country's post network, it was considered appropriate to hold such a conference in Baku, regarding Azerbaijan's experience," the IT Ministry reported.
The Universal Postal Union (UPU), Regional Commonwealth in Communication (RCC) and Azerbaijan Communication Administration will organize the conference.
Representatives of the RCC countries, members of STEFI, EUROGIRO, some officials of international organizations specialized in post-financial services will partake in the conference.
At present an exact date and agenda of the conference are being determined.
