Trainings on computer skills were held in Zagatala and Balaken within the project Academy of IT, public union Ireli told Trend on July 6.
According to source, roughly 75 people participated in trainings in Zagatala, 69 got certificates. Roughly 101 of 134 people got certificates in Balaken.
Project is implemented by public union Ireli. Its major aim is to increase computer skills of youth. The Communication and IT ministry greatly supports this project.
The project is realized stage by stage. It will cover all regions of Azerbaijan. Trainings were held in Ganja, Gazakh, Agstafa, Shamkir and Tovuz.
Roughly 50,000 people will be attracted to the project by conducting IT trainings and forming of initial skills of teachers, youth and teenagers by late 2009.
