Entrance to Icheri Sheher in Baku carried out through the card system

The State Historical-Architectural Reserve "Icheri Sheher" has introduced a card system for vehicles to enter or leave the territory of the fortress, AzerTaj state news agency said.

The system is designed to organize the entry of vehicles into the territory of Icheri Sheher "with restricted access. So, from September 1, entry to Icheri Sheher is paid. Access is provided via the card. Information about an owner of the card and a car are included in the card to identify the owner.

Automatic barriers are used to restrict the access. They are managed by controllers who open the passage via the cards.

Access for residents' vehicles of Icheri Sheher is free of charge. Entry of vehicles, not owned by residents and employees of companies, is paid. Employees of companies operating in the territory of Icheri Shehar can buy permanent cards for passage.

There are cards of one-time use for other cars. The cost will be charged for each hour of stay in the " Icheri Sheher". Thus, the first hour of stay is worth two manat. Afterwards, one manat will be charged for each additional hour.
