Prices gradually cut on Azerbaijan's ADSL market

Ultel Company reduced prices for Internet access via ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line), the company told Trend .

Depending on the chosen tariff plan, the expenses of the Ultel subscribers for unlimited high-speed access now accounts for between 15 manat - 256/256 kbit / s to 500 manat - 8192/1024 kbps.

Accessed through ADSL is available for subscribers of ATS of - 493/498/598/561/562/563/566/567/514.

The first step in this direction was taken by the AzStarNet company in late August. The company introduced two tariff plans with limited traffic "Home" and "Business", bandwidth up to four Mbps. The tariff plan "Home" is included in a "Standard" and "Extra" package, which cost 25-155 manat, depending on the selected traffic (eight and 20 Gb).

At present, the most minimum (compared with rates of other providers) tariff for ADSL Internet access was marked in the Smart Systems company. According to Smart Systems' tariff, recently entered into force, a monthly price of the unlimited ADSL access bandwidth of 128 kbit /s is 5 manat, 512 kbit /s - 12 manat, 1024 Kbit /s - 20 manat and 2048 kbit /s - 48 manat.

ADSL technology is the most advanced type of access to the Internet or corporate network. To create an ADSL connection requires an ADSL modem and splitter. ADSL provides data transmission at speeds sufficient to work effectively with a variety of data, including digital video and multimedia.
