Sale of notebooks and netbooks in Azerbaijan increased by 9.6 percent in January-September 2017, the Global Stats statistical center said Oct. 2.
As of Oct. 1, the market share of notebooks in Azerbaijan reached 58.7 percent, which is 21.7 percent more than in the same period of 2016.
A 10.1-percent decrease in desktop computer sales was recorded in Azerbaijan in January-September 2017.
The market share of desktop computers was 38.2 percent as of late September, which is 20.4 percent less than in the same period 2016.
The market share of tablets was the third biggest (3.04 percent).
The market share of tablet computers shrank by 21.4 percent in January-September 2017 and by nearly 18.3 percent compared to the same period of 2016.
