Azerbaijani state telecom operators, Aztelekom LLC and Baku Telephone Communications LLC, are to create a working group to regulate the IoT (Internet of Things), Trend reports citing a source at Aztelekom LLC.
The source noted that this issue requires active state regulation and assistance.
"We intend to study our foreign partners' experience in regulating the IoT," the source said.
The IoT is the network of devices, vehicles and home appliances that contain electronics, software, actuators and connectivity, which allow these things to connect, interact and exchange data.
Any autonomous devices connected to the internet that can be monitored or controlled remotely are included in the list of IoT devices.
