IT products of companies included in the Azerbaijan Innovation Export Consortium (AZINNEX) are bought in more than 20 countries, Executive Director of AZINNEX Farid Kazimov told Trend.
Kazimov said that these are mainly countries of Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and America.
“If we talk about countries, these are the US, Brazil, the UAE, Russia, Indonesia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Kazakhstan and others,” the director noted.
Despite that Azerbaijan mainly exports software, BestComp company’s plant for production of Acer computers operating in the country allows to be optimistic about export prospects of hardware as well, Kazimov said.
“Several export deliveries of Acer computers assembled in Azerbaijan to the Central Asian countries were carried out,” the director added. “Definitely, computer exports will grow, since Azerbaijan has good potential namely in this segment after the launch of the plant.”
