The share of devices on the Android platform in the market of operating systems in Azerbaijan in September 2021 amounted to 53.79 percent, having decreased by 0.59 percent over the month, Trend reports citing the Global Stats statistical center.
Windows OS (Microsoft) ranked second with a share of 31.04 percent, a decline of 0.54 percent in monthly terms.
At the same time, Apple's iOS operating system continues to rank third. Over the month, its share in the local market increased by 0.67 percent, reaching 10.31 percent.
The less popular operating systems in the country's market are macOS X (Apple) - 2.46 percent, Linux - 1.04 percent, other OS - 1.36 percent.
The share of devices on the Android platform in 9M2021 increased by 2.83 percent compared to the same period in 2020 and amounted to 51.83 percent, the Windows operating system decreased from 36.93 percent to 33.94 percent.
The share of devices on the iOS platform accounted for 9.21 percent, which exceeds the indicator of 9M2020 by 1.55 percent, devices on OS X occupied 2.45 percent in the Azerbaijani market, which is less than the indicator of the same period last year by 1.64 percent.
