Catel (Caspian American Telecommunications, LLC) plans to change rates for telephone calls after acquisition of a new network code вЂ" 40. Sadiq Qumbatov, executive manager, told Trend that the changes will not refer to present subscribers of the operator. According to changes in telephone tariffs, the incoming calls will be free.
The draft tariffs have been presented to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and the Monopoly Policy Department of the Ministry of Economic Development.
The expansion of the wireless connection in other regions of the country will be possible with the help of the new network code. Additionally, the subscribers will have an access to long-distance, city and Baku telephone line through Aztelekom.
