Azerbaijan to take part at the Caspian Telecoms 2006 international conference

Azerbaijani delegation will take part at the 5th anniversary conference and 4th exhibition of Caspian Telecoms 2006 for Turkey, CIS, Caspian and Black Sea regions. The head of the strategic planning and scientific potential department at the Communication Ministry, Ilham Mardanov, Aztelekom director general, Mahomet Mammedov, the chief consultant of the department on international connections and NGO, Jabbar Musayev and the Ministry` s center of international affairs and calculations department head, Jalil Jafarov will take part at the conference, the communication Ministry told Trend.

Delegations from Turkey, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Iran, Romania, Greece, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria, Afghanistan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and other countries will arrive to the conference. Besides, representatives of ITU, EU, World Bank, EBRD, UNDP, OPIC and etc are expected to take part.

Seminars on satellite, wireless and cell connections for CIS countries will be held in the frames of the round table meetings.

Caspian Telecoms 2006 exhibition will consist of 21 sections, including GSM operators, satellite TV, program maintenance, international investment banks, internet providers etc.

Caspian Telecoms 2006 will be supported by the ministry of transport and communications of Turkey and Turkish telecommunication administration Turk Telecom.

600 representatives from 25 countries will participate at the conference.
