Junior Achievement Azerbaijan will hold a presentation dedicated to the successful participation of Azerbaijani students at Hewlett Packard Global Business Competition (HPGBC) and JAA Work Experience Programme (WEP). The event will be held at Park Inn Hotel on 27 October, Trend reports referring to a message by US Embassy in Baku.
Two students from the Baku Zangi Lyceum who won 3rd Place in the HPGBC, and 9 JAA students who participated in the internship programs this summer at Exxon Mobil, McDermott Caspian Contractors, Statoil Azerbaijan, KCA Deutag and Bank Nikoil will be acknowledged. The event will bring together representatives of the Ministry of Education, the U.S. Embassy, local and international businesses, school authorities and the students. The event is being sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development and private donors.
Junior Achievement Azerbaijan implements its programs through the School Economic Education Program (SEE) and receives funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and private donors.
