Azercell Concluded New Roaming Agreement

The mobile operator of Azerbaijan, Azercell Telecom JV put into operation roaming service with three networks of Indian Bharti Airtel company Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai, Trend reports with reference to the Press-Service of the Company.

This is the 12th roaming contract with networks of Bharti Airtel company. Azercell has established cooperation with five Indian mobile communication companies, including Sterling Cellular, Hutchinson Max Telecom (Orange), BPL Cellular Limited, BPL Mobile Communications and Bharti (Airtel) Cellular.

Up today Azercell Telecom JV has concluded 307 roaming contracts with mobile communication operators from 135 world countries.

Azercell Telecom was created in January 1996 by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and Turkish Turkcell Д°letiЕџim Hizmetleri A.S.
