The coordination meeting on world conference of radio communications (WCRC) of the representatives of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) and European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (ECPTA) took place at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Russia.
Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by the Chief Consultant of the Department of International Relations and Work with Non-State Organizations of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, Togrul Gafarbeyli, Trend reports with reference to the Communications Ministry of Azerbaijan.
Together with Azerbaijan, the meeting was attended by the representatives from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Armenia. From ECPTA, the meeting was attended by the representatives of Great Britain, German, Holland, Finland, France and Sweden.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged information on the activities of their unions for preparing to WCRC-2007. In addition, the participants expressed their attention towards several important questions of the agenda of the forthcoming conference: development of IMT-2000; making amendments to Annex 30B of Radio Regulation, etc.
The participants reached an agreement on conducting the meting in May 2007.
