Azerbaijan's car towing company launches online payment service

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18

By Sadraddin Agjayev – Trend:

Azerbaijan’s Evakuasiya LLC (‘156’ Evacuation Service) contributes to development of cashless payments and online services in the country, the company’s Marketing Manager Gunel Pashayeva told Trend.

According to the manager, since 2019 the company has begun to introduce POS-terminals in cars to accept non-cash payment for the services provided.

"Due to the development of non-cash cash flow in the country, our company began accepting plastic cards for payment. In 2019, we concluded a cooperation agreement with Kapital Bank in the field of non-cash payments," Pashayeva said.

The manager also noted that the company installed POS-terminals on all of its service trucks.

“Customers can also pay for the company’s services online, via official website. After the driver executes the order, a customer is issued a receipt or an electronic document confirming the provision of services, at his request," Pashayeva added.

The company is the first one fully performing roadside Assistance in azerbaijan. It started operating since February 2011 and is also the first company which offered the car towing service across the country. The company has launched '156' hotline from January 2011 and started to serve drivers 24/7.
