As many as 152 Kazakh trucks transported cargo from Kazakhstan to Turkey in the first five months of 2020, which is 20 percent less than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports on June 24 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Kazakhstan accounted for 0.23 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation by trucks from Turkey over the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, 34 Kazakh trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Kazakhstan in May 2020, which is 48 percent more than in May 2019.
In total, 65,957 trucks transported cargo from abroad to Turkey from January through May 2020, which is 22 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
“In May 2020, 9,285 trucks transported cargo from foreign countries to Turkey, which is 51 percent less compared to May 2019,” UND added.
