According to the representative, during the reporting period, 9,769 TEU of containers was handled within the route against 3,378 TEU in the same period of 2019.

The official said that the increase was due to the operation of the Aktau-Baku (Alat)-Aktau regular feeder container service within TITR (in 2019 the feeder ships began operating in the second quarter).

The container shipments amounted to 1,112 TEU in September 2020.

The TITR route runs through China, Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and further to European countries.

Bautino сargo port is a division of the Aktau International Commercial Sea Port and is located in the village of Bautino (150 km from the city of Aktau).
