Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency allows flights from Irkutsk to 3 countries

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency allowed international flights from Irkutsk airport to three countries, namely, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, Trend reports on April 13 referring to the Uzbek media.

Thus, Ural Airlines was allowed to fly to Hanoi, Vietnam, Siberia Airlines was allowed to make flights to Kulyab (a city in the Khatlon region of Tajikistan).

The same company was allowed to make flights to Uzbekistan’s Bukhara, Samarkand, and Namangan cities upon order #226 of the Federal Air Transport Agency dated April 8. In accordance with the same order, "Vim-Avia" airlines’ permission to make flights to Frankfurt am Main was canceled.

Russia resumed the flights to Egypt, Dubai, and the Maldives in October 2021, a little later - to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Korea.

The Russian Federation resumed the flights to four more countries, namely, Finland, Vietnam, India, and Qatar in January 2021.

The flights to six more countries, namely, Venezuela, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Sri Lanka, were resumed in late March.

Moreover, the flights to Turkey were resumed in 2020, but they will be again suspended due to the coronavirus from April 15 till summer 2021.
