Turkish ports handled 819 cargo vans from January through July 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
At the same time, the ships delivered 369 cargo vans to Turkish ports.
"During the reporting period, 450 cargo vans were sent from the ports of Turkey," the ministry said.
Turkish ports handled a total of over 1.18 million vehicles in the first 7 months of 2021.
Ro-Ro ships delivered 472,022 vehicles to Turkish ports during the reporting period. From January through July 2021, 716,691 vehicles were sent from the ports of Turkey by Ro-Ro ships
“Turkish ports handled 145,316 vehicles in total in July of this year. In this month, Ro-Ro ships delivered 58,106 vehicles to Turkish ports, and 87,210 cars were sent from the ports,” the ministry said.
