Turkish Canakkale port has received 272 ships from January to July 2021, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, in the reporting period, among the received ships 147 flew the Turkish flag, and other 125 - flags of other countries.
In July 2021, Turkish ports received 4,204 ships, of which 1,298 flew the Turkish flag, and other 2,906 - flags of other countries.
Overall, in the first seven months of this year, Turkish ports received 29,302 ships, including 8,842 ones flying the Turkish flag, the ministry said.
The remaining 20,460 ships received by the local ports flew the flags of other countries, added the ministry.
