The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) increased by 27 percent in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2021), compared to the 6th month (August 23 through September 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, a total of 49,600 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 1,820 tons were loaded for exports and 47,800 were unloaded for imports.
About 48,600 tons of essential products, 997 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials, 22 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 7th month of the current Iranian year.
As reported, about 12 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the seventh month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.6 million tons were loaded and 6.36 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 12.5 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
