The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Fereidoonkenar port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) increased by 18.2 percent in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (January 21 through February 19, 2022), compared to the 10th month (December 22, 2021 through January 20, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
According to the statistics, about 19,800 tons of cargo were unloaded in the Fereidoonkenar port during the reporting month. Of this, 2,050 tons were loaded and 17,700 tons were unloaded.
Over the 11th month, 2,050 tons of cargo were exported and 17,700 tons were imported through this port.
So, 17,700 tons of essential products and 2,050 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were unloaded through the port in the 11th month of the current Iranian year.
About 12.6 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 11th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.11 million tons were loaded and 6.49 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 14.3 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
The Iran's Fereidoonkenar port is located on 69 hectares of land. The port has 2 platforms and 700,000 tons of cargo can be loaded and unloaded in the port per year.
