BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. The number of passengers transported via Iranian airports domestically increased by 16 percent, during the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), compared to the same period in the preceding year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
In total, approximately 29.4 million passengers were transported domestically through Iran’s airports in 11 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period in the preceding year, the figure stood at over 25.4 million.
