Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has been invited to the 12th session of the Boao Forum for Asia to discuss the Asian economy, the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
"Kazakhstan's Ambassador to China Nurlan Yermekbayev received an official invitation addressed to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for participation in the 12th session of the BFA on "Asia in search of development for all: restructuring, responsibility and cooperation" to be held on April 6-8," the statement said.
Kazakhstan is one of the 28 founding members of this forum intended to assist promoting regional economic integration and the common development of Asian countries.
The forum is a universal dialogue platform for government officials, representatives of influential businesses and international organizations, leading scientists and analysts to exchange opinions, forecasts, and new ideas on the problems and prospects of further development of Asian countries and their dialogue with other regions of the world.
"According to BFA Secretary General Zhou Wenzhong, the 12th session of the forum will focus on the vision, strategy and policy of seeking mutually beneficial common development of all countries and peoples," the ministry reported.
It is planned that the upcoming 12th session of the forum will be attended by the presidents of Mexico, Peru, Spain, Algeria, Myanmar, Zambia, the Sultanate of Brunei and the Prime Ministers of Australia, Cambodia and New Zealand, as well as the President of the International Monetary Fund, the heads of international organizations and more than two thousand representatives of government agencies, large business organizations and media groups, leading research and analytical centers of China and other countries.
